This document sets out the privacy policy of BikeHero Pty Ltd ACN 699 107 367 (referred to in this privacy policy as ‘we’, ‘us’, or ‘our’).
We take our privacy obligations seriously and we’ve created this privacy policy to explain how we store, maintain, use and disclose personal information.

information relating to a Parent's account and a Child's profile, including a Child's first name, age, avatar, learning activity, progress, quiz and activity results, certificates and similar educational information;
parental consent records;
information you provide through surveys, feedback forms, support requests or communications with us;
images uploaded by you or your Child where optional Platform features require them (such as profile or AI-powered image features);
device information, cookies, analytics information, IP address, device identifiers, browser information, location information (where enabled by you), and other technical information relating to your use of the Platform; and
any other information you provide to us or authorise us to collect.
III.HOW WE COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION
We may collect personal information either directly from you, or from third parties, including where you:
contact us through our website;
create an Account;
subscribe to or use the Platform;
create or manage a Child profile;
complete lessons, quizzes, surveys or other activities within the Platform;
upload content or images to the Platform;
communicate with us;
interact with our Website, Platform or any companion mobile application;
invest in our business or enquire as to a potential purchase in our business; or
otherwise provide information to us.
We may also collect personal information from you when you use or access our website or our social media pages. This may be done through use of web analytics tools, ‘cookies’ or other similar tracking technologies that allow us to track and analyse your website usage. Cookies are small files that store information on your computer, mobile phone or other device and enable and allow the creator of the cookie to identify when you visit different websites. If you do not wish information to be stored as a cookie, you can disable cookies in your web browser.
Where you access the Platform through a companion mobile application, we may collect additional information from your device (such as location information, push notification tokens or other device information) where you have enabled those features. We only collect this information where reasonably necessary to provide the relevant functionality.

We collect and use personal information for the following purposes:
provide, operate and improve the Platform;
manage Accounts and Subscriptions;
monitor learning progress and provide educational functionality;
issue certificates and provide Parent account features;
provide AI-powered functionality and other Platform features;
communicate with you;
maintain security and integrity of the Platform;
comply with legal obligations; and
to consider an application of employment from you.
We may disclose your personal information to cloud-providers, contractors and other third parties located inside or outside of Australia. This may include cloud hosting providers, payment providers, analytics providers, AI service providers and other technology providers located both within and outside Australia. If we do so, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that any overseas recipient has similar legal safeguards and deals with such personal information in a manner consistent with how we deal with it.
V.MARKETING
We may at times send you marketing communications which will be done in accordance with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) (Spam Act).
If we do, we may use email, SMS, social media, phone or mail to send you direct marketing communications.
Where consent is needed, we will ask you for your consent before sending you marketing communications, except where you:
have explicitly opted-in to receiving email marketing from us in the past; or
were given the option to opt-out of email marketing when you initially signed up for one of our platforms and you did not do so.

We will implement such a request as soon as possible, however, cannot guarantee that such a response will be immediate.

Where a Parent closes an Account, requests deletion of a Child’s personal information or a Child no longer uses the Platform, we will retain or securely delete personal information in accordance with applicable laws and our legitimate business requirements. Some information may be retained where required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect our legal rights.
Parents may request access to, correction of or deletion of their Child’s personal information by contacting us using the details set out in this Privacy Policy.
VII.SECURITY
We take reasonable steps to ensure your personal information is secure and protected from misuse or unauthorised access. Our information technology systems are password protected, and we use a range of administrative and technical measures to protect these systems. However, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information.
